Monkey Joes and Arizona
Another fun week! We tried out a new umbrella stroller and then Parker and I got to go to a place called Monkey Joes with some friends in the beginning of the week. I can’t wait until she’s old enough to play! She is going to love it. Here are some pictures of Flannery and Kiernan playing and Parker trying to join in. Also, here is a cute video of Flannery’s first slide experience…
On Wednesday we were FINALLY able to get out to Arizona to see my parents and their sort of new house. It was such an awesome place and we all had a lot of fun. Matt was able to come, too, so it was nice to have the whole family back together. We did so many things and went so many places so I’m not sure I’ll be able to make all these pictures make sense. I guess I’ll just explain the order that we did things and you can sort of figure out where the pictures were taken. This is the largest amount of pictures and videos I’ve ever taken in a week so it might be a bit boring to some of you:) Sorry!! There were just too many things to capture!
Parker did awesome on both flights. She was happy most of the time and slept the rest of the time. We drove to Sedona and got to lounge around at the house the first day.
The next day we went into town and then to a place called Tlaquepaque for lunch. There is a “labyrinth” there that you can walk around to help you meditate and it was next to a waterfall and a creek. Very peaceful! We also went to an overlook at the top of Oak Creek Canyon that day and Airport Mesa to look over Sedona.
There are some pictures of us relaxing out on the patio overlooking the beautiful red rocks the next day. Then we went to Montezuma’s Well where you can see old cave dwellings and you can get right down to the water. We forgot Parker’s hat in the car so Grandpa made a temporary hat out of his handkerchief. She looked so ridiculous we couldn’t stop laughing:) That night Jared, mom, and I went on an art gallery crawl downtown. There are some pictures of a rainbow and some of the rocks from that night.
Saturday morning Jared, dad, and I got up and hiked Bell Rock in the morning. It was amazing to see the views as we went around the rock. Next time we’ll come better prepared and climb higher.
The rest of the pictures are of us hanging around in the house and then sort of a photo tour of the house.
I can’t wait to go back!!!!
And here are videos of the trip.
