10 weeks old

Parker is starting to smile and talk so much now and we’ve actually been able to capture it on film. She is getting more and more aware of her surroundings every day and is awake a lot more often (which is fun and hard at the same time…). At her 2 month visit to the doctor on March 2nd she weighed 10lbs 8oz and was 23 1/4 inches long. Tall and skinny as usual!
This batch of pictures includes trying to fit her into her monkey snow suit that she was supposed to come home from the hospital in but STILL doesn’t fit, Parker passed out on my yoga mat after trying to do a baby yoga/massage video and crying the whole way through, and saying “happy birthday” to grandpa Schwartz. The rest are just random happy pictures of her:)

This next album has lots of pictures showing off her chubby face and wide eyes.  There are some pretty horrible close-ups that she wouldn’t want me to put  up if she had any say in it.  But they are all cute anyway!  There are also some of Jared reading to her, a couple showing off her “milk belly” after she eats, and others trying to catch her smiling.

Here are some videos I took this past week and today.  The first one starts cute with her enjoying her Baby Einstein play set and ends horribly with Nibbler jumping over her face:(  I was throwing a ball down the hallway to Milhouse and didn’t do a very good job of holding Nibbler back from chasing him…

The next one shows her trying to lift her head.  It’s very rare that she isn’t crying during “tummy time.”  The doctor says to have her do it for at least 10 minutes a day but she HATES it!

Last is one I took this morning.  It’s a typical Parker/daddy conversation.  She’s starting to talk! It also shows a little bit of her new favorite habit: trying to stuff her entire hand into her mouth.
