More ultrasound stuff!
We went back to the doctor yesterday (Wednesday, June 11th) for a test to see how at risk we are for Down Syndrome and other chromosome abnormalities. So that meant ANOTHER ULTRASOUND. This was an extra long one because in order to do the measuring she needed to do, the baby had to have its neck in the right position. Since it was curled up so much, she had to keep poking it to wake it up. Then it’d go crazy and kick and throw its arms around and everything. Never really got into the right position, though… Everything looks fine, fortunately, and it was amazing to see how fast the baby is growing and is actually looking like a BABY instead of a nut. So here are a few pictures from yesterday’s visit.
Also, this was the test that the doctor wanted us to have before he felt comfortable with us telling everyone the news. So it’s not a secret anymore! We are officially publicly pregnant:)
He/she sure is growing fast! It’s so nice to be able to watch the progress.
Oh, and now I can officially declare that I’m going to be a grandmother!!!! (sorry I couldn’t contain myself and had told a few people already–mostly family).
Love you guys, Mom Jessop
What a neat website! And now, we can officially – and hereby publicly – send our heartfelt congratulations to the two (three) of you. We’ll be sure to check in from time to time to see how things are coming along. We’re happy for you guys!

That is awesome news! Jared, I new when you were eating that babies head at your wedding that one day you’d have your own little one to chew on. I chew on Cordies’ cheeks everyday! (this is a not a joke, they are irresistible little cheeks)..
Also, there are clearly some spelling errors in that last post…..and BrulesRules.com is no longer up….Great Job!
Congrats! So excited… wish we lived closer so our babies could play together… Hope all is well! XOXO -
